Brain injury screening & neurorecovery

Brain injury is being missed. Together, we can stop the bleeding.

Screening, education, coaching, and training for the people and systems where brain injury too often goes unseen.

The problem

The injury underneath the behavior

Brain injury is routinely missed — and its symptoms get read as addiction, mental illness, poor choices, or personal failure. Across the systems meant to help, the real driver goes unrecognized.

Screening is the doorway.
Education is the intervention.

Identify the injury early, understand the symptoms accurately, reduce the shame — and build a path forward.

More than 15 traumatic brain injuries — and decades of being told the problem was everything but my brain.

For years, my injuries went undiagnosed. The symptoms — memory, emotional regulation, impulsivity, fatigue, sleep — were read as addiction, mental illness, and personal failure. The systems around me didn't know how to identify what I was actually living with.

Education, recovery, and professional training changed that. The patterns finally had language. What had been treated as moral failure could be understood through brain injury, trauma, and survival biology.

I do this work now because I know what it costs when brain injury is missed — from the inside, and from inside the systems trying to respond.
